Nick Howe is an award-winning Chief Learning Officer who created and led the corporate university at Hitachi Vantara. With a particular focus on the use of technology to accelerate and enhance learning, Nick’s team developed and delivered learning to all roles and department within Hitachi, provided sales and service enablement to Hitachi’s resellers, and built a multi-million dollar for-profit customer education business. For five years Nick was the Chief Learning Officer at Area9, the global leader in adaptive learning technologies. Nick was chief evangelist, helping companies transform their approach to learning and development by implementing research-validated, AI-based personalization. Prior to moving into L&D, Nick spent two decades in engineering, IT, sales, services and management roles in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the US.
