Tom Bigda-Peyton
Catholic Health of Long Island
Tom is founder and Executive Director of the Workforce Resilience Institute of Long Island, a project of Catholic Health and Nassau County, NY, which is funded by a three year Federal Workforce Development grant. The Institute is a Center of Excellence for workforce recovery and resilience across healthcare and business throughout the County. Tom provides program development, advisement, consulting, training, and oversight on behalf of the Center, which is based on work he began prior to the Pandemic as CLO for 8 years for Catholic Health, a 15,000 employee hospital system. Before taking on the CLO role, Tom ran his own consulting business for 25 years, working with business and learning leaders on organizational transformation, strategic learning, and operations excellence initiatives. He holds a doctorate in Organizational Behavior and Intervention from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
