LearnOps AI is a performance tool for Cognota users to securely retrieve data, ensuring privacy and compliance with information security best practices.
LearnOps AI retrieves user data without knowing its content due to a programmatic barrier separating the AI model from Cognota’s data. The AI model is not and cannot be trained on user data, preventing it from hallucinating or generating uncontrolled output. The AI models in LearnOps AI are used for Data Retrieval and, optionally, Data Formatting.
When a user requests data from LearnOps AI, it generates a database query based on Cognota’s data model, without accessing the actual user data. Only the user’s question and the resulting SQL code are involved. Cognota’s server performs post-processing and authorization checks to ensure the query is valid, error-free, and restricted to authorized data. LearnOps AI cannot bypass these safeguards. The result is a table of data with descriptive column headings.
After data retrieval, LearnOps AI can optionally reformat the data for easier understanding. The AI decides whether to present the data in its raw tabular form or summarize it in sentences based on the dataset’s size. If sentence-format is chosen, the AI summarizes the data into a few sentences. Only the requested data is used for summarization. If the formatting step is disabled, the data is always presented in its raw tabular form.

Your data storage remains unchanged with LearnOps AI, as it integrates seamlessly with Cognota’s existing infrastructure.
Absolutely not. We ensure that each customer’s data is isolated and never shared with others through robust programmatic safeguards that LearnOps AI cannot bypass.
LearnOps AI is restricted to accessing only specific database tables and columns authorized by our servers. It cannot bypass these access controls.
The AI model does not read or store your organization’s data. It generates SQL queries based on the database structure, not its content. The server executes these queries to retrieve and display data. Small datasets may be summarized into sentences, while larger results are presented in their raw tabular format.
No. Our AI models are never trained on customer data. LearnOps AI is designed to function effectively without needing or using customer data for training.
LearnOps AI only writes database queries and cannot invent data or fabricate answers. If an AI-generated query is incorrect, it won’t run successfully. At worst, the query may misinterpret the user’s question, leading to less useful results. We continuously improve the system to better explain queries to users, helping them verify the accuracy of the returned data.
No. LearnOps AI is strictly confined to operate within the Cognota environment and cannot interface with external tools or databases, ensuring data security and integrity.
